I don’t own a business, yet I find having a business card super helpful when I am out taking pictures. I rarely take pictures of complete strangers, but if I happen to get a shot of someone for some reason, I then approach them with a business card and ask them to visit my website and contact me if they want a free copy of the picture. After handing the same card out for years, I decided recently to change my photography business card.
Here are samples of the look and feel of the old business cards. I was cheaper back then, did it all in black and white and used the same picture on both sides.
The new cards are in living color, and they just seem so much happier. I included an email address, which I never thought to do years ago, and I was constantly looking for a pen to handwrite my contact information. The new card makes it so that people do not have to search my website to find my contact info, which should save everybody a bit of time.
I wanted to have a bit of Maui on the card, but I also wanted Ireland, so I was able to get the best of both worlds on each side.
I like the style of the new business cards, simple, but effective. I purchased them online through vistaprint (same company I used for the old cards). If you would like a few to hand out, feel free to email me your address and I will send some your way.
